As all of the HU community has realized Hunting Unlimited 2008 was released June 2007. New things added to the game are Wild Turkey, a turkey decoy, weapons, and call. The animals response to the calls has vastly improved to the previous HU games. You still have the previous realistic responding animals, maps, equipment, and weapons that were in HU4. There is more challenges approximately 16 more .. giving you over 60 + challenges to hone your skills. Tutorial challenges for those wanting to learn the basics before jumping into Tournaments.
Some may not know this but all the challenges are user missions that lucky members of the HU community who submitted missions to share were also chosen to be made into challenges, beta testers and programmers submitted theirs too giving you the best of their creative talents at work. This will give you many hours of hunting exciting missions. Your trusty Horse to carry you over rough terrain. The ATV was improved to give you faster vehicle, and a bit more stable getting you across the map in record time. Of course the target range is packed full of fun things to shoot as well as being able to clear your targets and test all the weapons out. Sighting in your weapons with the use of the MOA charts listed in the Guide.
There’s 2 new maps…Upper Midwest and South Central Plains, which were detailed more than before. The graphics on the water is superb.
