HU User’s Guide

General Settings includes Mission Name, Mission Briefing, Dangerous Animals, Weather, Author, Password.

Mission Name

Type the mission name in this space. It will no longer be “unnamed” title on the main user mission screen.

Mission Briefing

Type a brief summary and / or goals for the hunt you created, you may want to give a hint of direction of travel too, in the colored green box. Above this brief description you will notice the map title above it. Note: You may want to wait to fill the mission briefing out till after it has been completed and a test run done. Saves on having to edit your mission brief a few times.

Dangerous Animals

The predators will kill you if the Attack hunter, Aggression under Start Values are turned on the animal property page, and also change the Preset to Aggression. Kill hunter is also turned on under the Script Command. Elephants and Buffalo may also kill you if all the settings are turned on for it. ***Read the Animal Property Screen and Script Page for the commands functions***

Weather

This is the weather condition you choose for your hunt, time of day you may only hunt from 5 a.m. till 9 p.m. Wind conditions as well includes calm, clear, clouds, rain, snow, and fog. To move the direction of the wind, this is done; move the wind arrow around holding down first button on your mouse or left button on most track ball type mouse controls. Note: If you wish to set a time limit on your hunt, you need to do this in the Toggle Command Workspace Window under Goal Settings and it will be set in seconds.

Author

This is the creator of the user mission “your profile name” may be used and placed here

Password

Essential if you want to kept the user mission from being altered in any form it is suggested you write the password and user mission name down somewhere and never give your password out. Note: At this time both HU4 and HU2008 cause prism3d crashes if password is placed and you try and return to edit your mission.

When you have completed above task this ends your editing screen and returns you to the main user mission screen.
