HU User’s Guide

Goal Settings includes Tag Settings, Goal Settings Selections; long shot, close range, single shot, time limit, vital shot, head shot, heart shot, lung shot, spine shot. Warning at Distance Alert.

Tag Settings

Select Up to 3 animal tags: any species or pick from selected scroll down list. Note: Be sure to include animals or use general species that you placed on your map.

Goal Settings Selections

There are 9 selections starting from top left to the right then the next line on the far left toward the right and bottom line from left to right I will list and name what each deer symbol means. Note: If the red mark shows it is not turned on if green is selected it is turned on.

1. Long Shot – bonus points awarded if marked green if animal is killed on a long shot.

2. Close Range – bonus points awarded if marked green if animal is killed at close range.

3. Single Shot – bonus points awarded if marked green on a one shot kill.

4. Time Limit – time limit is to be entered in as seconds, if this is marked green and bonus points awarded. A count down clock will start at the beginning of the hunt. Red flashing clock will warn when your time limit nears an end. You may continue to hunt but no bonus points will be rewarded past the expired time on the clock.

5. Vital Shot – bonus points awarded if this is marked green and you hit any vital organs.

6. Head Shot – bonus points awarded if this is marked green and you hit the head.

7. Heart Shot – bonus points awarded if this is marked green and you hit the heart.

8. Lung Shot – bonus points awarded if this is marked green and you hit a lung.

9. Spine Shot – bonus points awarded if this is marked green and you hit the spine.

Warn At Distance Alert

Warn at distance – off / on flashes warning when the animals you are hunting wander father than a specified distance. This is done in a mini pop up window and calculated in yards from your hunting position. By setting the amount to 0 it turns this feature off.
